What we collect

The details you type into our forms: name, email, and your answers (for example your profession, province, or what you're working on). Our forms also record the date, time and IP address of your consent.

Why

To send the updates you asked for, to understand what founders and professionals need from an online registration service, and — only if you agreed — to contact you about your answers. We don't sell your information or use it for anything else.

Where it's stored

For now, with our hosting provider, Hostinger, on its servers in the United States, where US authorities may be able to access it under US law. When we move to a provider in Canada, we'll update this page and email you before the change.

How long

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it's no longer needed for the purposes above. Research answers are deleted or anonymised within 24 months.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email with one click. Ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing privacy@canadafy.ca; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
